Our church services are traditional and Biblically centered. The Bible is expounded, explained, and made relevant for everyone. We place a high priority on God’s Word and pray for the Spirit to use it to impact our lives and community.
We usually sing 4-5 hymns, which are followed by a 20-25 minute sermon. The music style, like the services at the church, is also traditional.
The Church has been blessed with comfortable sanctuary that will seat 75-100 people. We dress casually for services. The important thing is not how we dress but rather that we come to worship. We observe The Lord’s Supper once per quarter, and have a Business Meeting every third Sunday each second month of a quarter (Feb., May, Aug., Nov.) after the morning service.
Centertown has an attendance of about 35-40 and 10 at the Wednesday evening service. Though we are small in number at the moment, the members of Centertown are big on welcoming all the visitors. The Church membership age is older, but we are seeing more younger families with children attend. Our prayer is that as we remain obedient to the Lord and His Word, that we will continue to grow both spiritually and numerically in all ages.
For those with small children, we provide a nursery. It is located at the end of the hallway behind the pulpit area.
